REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: SELF-EMPLOYED PERSONS

As a foreign self-employed worker, you must have relevant experience and be able to create a job for yourself in Canada and thus significantly contribute to specific economic activities.

You must have a legally-obtained minimum net worth of CDN $100,000, jointly with your accompanying spouse or common-law spouse, if applicable.

You must have at least 2 years’ experience in the profession you intend to practise in Quebec.
